The second day of the 2026 Johnston County Livestock Show showcased the Milburn FFA & 4-H hog exhibitors. On Thursday evening of the Johnston County Junior Livestock Show, Karlee Hearrell and Eric McBride challenged themselves in Master Showmanship. The Grand and Reserve Champion Showman from the Senior and Intermediate divisions of each species compete against each other in an all around competition. Baseball update for today, Mar 10: The high school game has been canceled. Junior high will play at Springer at 4:30pm.
Reminder! This Thursday is Spring Picture Day! Pictures will begin in the gym at 9:20. Spring Sports/Clubs Pictures are going to be taken afterward in the gym as well. Below is the list of sports/clubs that need to be prepares for photos:

The softball games scheduled for today, Mar 9, have been moved to Achille and will be junior high only, no high school games. They will start play at 4:30pm.

Due to an elementary field trip tomorrow, Spring Pictures have been postponed until Thursday, March 12. This is the same day as Spring Sport/Club photos.

The Johnston County Junior Livestock Show brought success and fun for our 4-H and FFA members this last week. The 2nd place senior livestock judging team consisted of Braden Green, Karlee Hearrell, Caileigh Lindsey, and Eric McBride. Eric also placed 3rd overall in the Sr. division.

OKC Blue Field Trip is March 4th. 5th through 8th grade students only. Bulletin stated elementary was attending which was incorrect.
Correction OKC Blue Field Trip is for 5th through 8th grade students only. Bus will leave @8 and return at the end of the school day.
Weekly Bulletin 3/2

Udpate/Correction: The send off for the high school boys basketball team will be at 3pm, not 2pm, tomorrow, Feb 26.
Tomorrow, Feb 26, we will have a send off for our Area Tournament bound boys. We are inviting our community to help us see them off. We will have everyone gather and line the street between the high school and elementary buildings and show our appreciation for all the hard work these students have put in this season. The boys are scheduled to play Big Pasture tomorrow at 7:30pm at Noble High School. Good luck Eagles.
Weekly Bulletin 2/23

Milburn FFA Officers attended FFA Day at the Capitol. They shared thoughtful conversations with Representative Ryan Eaves and Senator David Bullard. Afterwards, they enjoyed a walk around the capitol building. The officers expressed their appreciation for the labor that went into the architecture and construction of such a beautiful building. We are grateful to the state legislators for taking time out of their busy season to visit with FFA members from around the state.





Milburn 4-H and FFA students participated in the Southeast Regional Livestock Show last week in Coalgate. Karlee Hearrell placed 2nd in the lightweight doe goat class and Eric McBride had the 15th overall doe goat in the show. Thursday, Caileigh Lindsey placed 7th in the lightweight Hampshire class. Paisley Dean placed 7th in her Duroc class and 4th in the mid weight Hampshire class. Other participants included Salem Matheson, Jordan Snyder, Chevy Black, Cade McBride, and Leah McBride. Come show your support next week in Tishomingo for the Johnston County Livestock Show, Wednesday through Saturday!
