FEBRUARY 24 - 28, 2025
Join public school parents, teachers and staff across the nation in this grassroots effort to celebrate the importance of public education to our democracy. For the week of February 24th, many supporters will be cheering the greatness of hometown schools loud and proud for all the communities and elected officials to hear, reminding them how important public schools are as they serve 95% of students in Oklahoma.
Attention Milburn Parents:

Milburn 7/8 boys basketball team are Consolation Champions of the 2025 JH Conference Tournament.
JH Schedule Update: The 7th/8th basketball teams have updated times for the QCC Conference Tournament. The girls will play at 1:40pm and the boys play at 2:30pm. The bus will leave Milburn at 12:40pm.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting members of the State FFA Officer Team, along with their advisor. Their visit provided our students an exciting opportunity for students to engage with the team and learn much more about FFA and what it has to offer!

Milburn School is collaborating with other county schools, School Resource Officers, and Johnston County District Attorney’s office to crackdown on truancy and excessive absenteeism. So, beginning Monday, January 27th, Milburn School will join our county law enforcement and judicial system to recognize truancy and excessive absenteeism as an unlawful act by the parent or guardian according to Oklahoma Statute 70 O.S. 10-105.
