We would like to take a moment to highlight a FFA Week activity our FFA Officers did with our elementary students! They went and read accurate agricultural books to teach about agriculture to our lower grades! The FFA Officer team had a great time and we hope the others did too! Great job guys!

District tournament at Kiowa beginning tonight, Feb 8 with the girls tipping off at 7:30pm and boys playing tomorrow, Feb 9 at 7:30pm: Cash tickets are 10 bucks at the gate, or can be purchased online at GoFan.com for 7 bucks plus $1.35 service fee. Milburn Students of the Month for December and January. We also recognized our top readers from the second nine weeks.
Milburn Elementary received the $5,000 Classroom Enhancement grant from the Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation administered by the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. This grant sparked conversations with our Promethean representative and they came through for us. Our representative created the opportunity to implement this technology in three classrooms. The grant was written and submitted by Ms. Brewer, our second grade teacher and 2023 Milburn Elementary Teacher of Year. We are excited to incorporate technology based hands-on activities to enhance students’ learning.
We've had some fun the last two weeks. We had the Southwest Dairy Producers presentation last week. We took classes to the Jasmine Moran Children's Museum and the Choctaw Cultural Center today.
