In 2011, Milburn seniors requested this 100 lb. piece of steel from the New York Trade Center as a legacy to Johnston County. It has since been on display in the Johnston County Courthouse. Through years of sunlight, the display case became badly worn. The case has been replaced and moved further in the walls for better protection. Thank you to the Chickasaw Nation for donating both the first case and second case.
We are excited to welcome Hayden Cardinalle back as the girls basketball coach and HS history teacher.
We would like to welcome Melissa McBride as the new Ag Ed Instructor.

Baseball and softball practices begin Tuesday, July 15th. Baseball will have JH/HS 8am-12pm on Tuesday with an additional practice for HS only 6pm-9pm. Additional practice information will go out at those practices. Softball players should have their practice schedules. If not, schedules will be available at sports physicals tomorrow.
REMINDER: Athletic physicals are tomorrow, Monday, July 14th, 8am-noon at the school. All students in the 7th-12th grade, planning to play sports, need a physical.
Milburn Athletics will be hosting a spaghetti dinner on Sunday, July 27. This is an effort to raise funds that will help all of our athletics programs in providing the equipment and opportunities for our student athletes. We are so grateful for the support of our community and parents, thank you!

Reminder: Our early enrollment window for high school starts tomorrow at 9am. This is for general enrollment and class selection. Seniors that turned in a pre enrollment packet do not need to attend this week.

High school enrollment, grades 9-12, will be July 1-3, 9am-2pm. For Seniors that pre enrolled no further action is needed. If you failed to return your pre enrollment packet you need to come pick your classes during our enrollment window.
