On Saturday, Caileigh Lindsey attended the AgHERculture Conference in Guthrie provided by the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry. She participated with other young ladies across the state in developing professional skills and networking with women currently in the agriculture industry.

During the conference, Mrs. McBride, Karlee Hearrell, and Eric McBride experienced the Edmond Farmer's Market and had the awesome opportunity to tour the garden and facilities of Whitmore Farms in Coyle, OK. Sincere thanks to the Whitmore Family for taking time out of their busy day to show us around and answer questions about their operation.

One of our very own represented Oklahoma 4-H in Washington D.C. this summer. Cade McBride was selected last fall based on his 4-H involvement and achievements to attend a 10 day travel experience to Washington Citizenship Focus. He had the opportunity to visit the Liberty Bell and Freedom Hall, eat dinner in Amish Country, visit many of the national monuments, and engage in thought provoking discussion with 4-H youth around the nation. Special thanks to his supporters, Johnston County 4-H, Oklahoma 4-H, and First United Bank of Tishomingo.
