Ag Education students toured OK Steel & Wire and Mid-American Steel & Wire in Madill last week. Students were fascinated by the machinery and manufacturing processes. It was impressive to see first hand how wire is made from a large metal billet right in our own backyard. Thank you OK Brand for allowing our students to gain an intimate view of your company and for taking the time to provide priceless job and life skills advice!

Milburn High School – New Discipline Option: After-School Detention

Milburn High School is introducing after-school detention as a new discipline option to support our teachers and promote positive student behavior. This measure allows us to address classroom and behavioral issues that do not warrant suspension, while still holding students accountable for their actions.

Detention provides students with an opportunity to reflect on their behavior through community service. Our goal is to help students make better choices while keeping them engaged in school rather than out of class.

We appreciate our parents/guardians for your continued support as we work together to maintain a respectful and productive learning environment for all students.

This is for high school students only at this time and will begin after fall break.

If you have any questions, please contact the school office.

More student engagement and learning taking place in Mrs. Miller's and Ms. Brewer's classes. The students were excited about taking the classroom outside for their pencil blaster experiments.

🍦🐄The Agriculture Communications class sharpened their skills working with various grades in the elementary. The challenge was to create an activity, cater it to their audience, and relate it to back to ag. They all seemed to enjoy the ice cream!
