Our third, fourth, and fifth graders learned a little bit about rocket science today! They got the chance to create and launch paper rockets in the auditorium. Who says learning can’t be fun?🚀🥼it’s a great day to be an eagle!🦅

We are in school! The roads are clear, and the heaters are on. We will have the buses warm, and the meals hot.

After checking the roads this evening, the plan is for school to be in session as normal on Wednesday, February 18th. As snow begins to fall, we will drive the roads in the morning and make the final decision by 6:00am. Any school closure will be communicated on Facebook, text notifications, KTEN, and KXII.

Due to the high possibility of inclement weather moving in before school is out. We will run buses at 12:00 on Tuesday, February 18. Distance learning packets and online work will be handed out for Wednesday and Thursday if we are unable to return this week. Be safe.

PUBLIC SCHOOLS WEEK,
FEBRUARY 24 - 28, 2025
Join public school parents, teachers and staff across the nation in this grassroots effort to celebrate the importance of public education to our democracy. For the week of February 24th, many supporters will be cheering the greatness of hometown schools loud and proud for all the communities and elected officials to hear, reminding them how important public schools are as they serve 95% of students in Oklahoma.

Attention Milburn Parents:
Due to the risk of inclement weather this week, we are asking parents to ensure that all contact information is up to date. Please notify the main office if you have had recent phone number or email changes. Thank you, and stay warm this week.
